No "Cash" for Small Amount Transaction

We can now use smart card instead of cash to settle small amount payments in retail stores. Hectrix Ltd. has recently launched a new smart card system, referred to as “iBonus”.

The advantage of this system is that besides processing small amount money transactions, it can also manage customer bonus points and record past transaction records. The device is also capable of displaying advertisements to provide customers with more information when it is idle.

Customers can easily check their balance bonus points and all gifts redeemable with those points in specific shops that have been installed iBonus smart card readers.

Once the customer has checked the bonus point, he/she can immediately choose his/her preferred gift by using the interactive touch screen of the iBonus. The shop is also able to promote its new products and services through the display screen.

Smart cards can be used for storing and updating user information, transaction record and earned bonus points.

iBonus is a standalone device, thus no extra software nor computer hardware is needed to support the system. The central database for keeping user information is also no longer necessary. It can minimize the cost of operation and maintenance.

This is a bonus point scheme system with very low installation and setup costsb, and it targets industries that implement bonus point schemes, such as retail chain stores, cyber cafes, video stores, and so on.
