Hectrix also provides the combination models which include PIN, Smart Card (Mifare, Legic, HID or EM), Barcode and Fingerprint. The combination model also supports an optional built-in CMOS camera that can take snapshots of accepted or rejected attempts and store upto 100 images directly in ACTAtek for viewing via the web interface.

The Fingerprint model has a limitation on the number of users since it stores fingerprint templates directly  in the unit as encrypted binary data. It stores upto 3 templates for each user enrolled and a maximum of 5,000 users are supported. The fingerprint data in combination units can be stored directly on the card optionally - giving users control of their encrypted fingerprint data.
