ACTAtek supports an optional built-in CMOS camera module, that can be installed in any model of the product. The built-in CMOS camera module allows for the ACTAtek to take snapshots of accepted or rejected attempts at the unit.
External IP cameras supported include AXIS & Panasonic. The IP Cameras provide live remote monitoring capabilities for remote locations, which can be accessed over the web from anywhere, at anytime. They can be accessed via the ACTAtek web interface or their own web interface.
This helps prevent buddy punching and avoid fraudulent behaviour even if your organization is just using the smart card or PIN models. The images can also be downloaded and saved on your PC with our ACTAtek server software. They can be cross referenced with pictures of the employee on the PC during enrollment.
ACTAtek can store up to a 100 images on its web interface, which can be viewed under "View Event Log". Once the maximum has been reached, the first image captured will be deleted automatically to make room for the future images. You can avoid losing images by backing them up either manually via the web interface, or via the ACTAtek Server. The ACTAtek Server can download the event log with the images automatically in real time from the device (if setup correctly). The images can be kept for future reference or reporting.
The resolution of the images captured is
QVGA. 320 x 240.

The AXIS 2100 can deliver simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 video streams, allowing for optimization in image quality and bandwidth. The MPEG-4 compression mode is ideal for applications where available bandwidth is restricted and higher frame rates are required.
The AXIS 2100 connects directly to an IP network. With a built-in Web server, the AXIS 2100 enables remote monitoring over a local area network or the Internet using a standard Web browser. Backed by the industry's largest base of application software for video and alarm management, the AXIS 2100 is an ideal choice for securing offices, shops and other facilities.
The AXIS 2100 can be integrated with the ACTAtek to have the web browser display the MPEG / JPEG images of the location. The network camera can be added via the web browser from which the video can be viewed.
