ACTAtek Door Strike Connection
These documents describe how the ACTAtek can connect with door strikes. With diode installed, it can significantly eliminate the drawback of the back emf, which usually happened when the door strike is changed from power on to power off. This sudden change of voltage drop will create the "back emf" and will damage the system.

Besides, do not try to share the power supply with ACTAtek if your electric lock is 12VDC operated as this will create a feedback path of the back emf to the ACTAtek. please use separate power supply for the electric door strike.

Notice: Maximum rating of the electrical door strike should be 12VDC @ 1A. AC operated locks are NOT recommended to be used with ACTAtek.
