The Simple External Mifare Reader is a serially connected external mifare card reader that connects to the ACTAtek via RS-232 or RS-485 serial cable connectors to the ACTAtek unit.

The External Relay provides for an added security measure for the ACTAtek when it is used for Access Control and installed outdoors. It is a secure relay that is connected to the ACTAtek and hidden within office premises, where nobody has access to trip the door lock.

Cards & Key Flob
 
Smart cards (Mifare/Legic) are available in ISO standards for thickness of use direct image and thermal transfer printer. 

Wireless Module (Wifi)

 

The newly released module - WiFi now works with the ACTAtek!!! This allows the ACTAtek to be connected with an external WiFi module and access the unit via your company's WiFi network directly.

Power Over Ethernet (PoE)


ACTAtek now supports Power Over Ethernet for supplying power to the ACTAtek device with just a network cable. This is possible to a number of brands and PoE systems. Hectrix has chosen to go with the PoE-100SK (Power Over Ethernet Kit - Injector & Splitter in a box- 12V).

Barcode Reader


ACTAtek has integrated with external Barcode Scanners to work with its built-in system. User can keep their old barcode cards but upgrade their old system with advanced ACTAtek system.

Network Camera
 

ACTAtek supports an optional built-in CMOS camera module, that can be installed in any model of the product. The built-in CMOS camera module allows for the ACTAtek to take snapshots of accepted or rejected attempts at the unit.

External IP cameras supported include AXIS & Panasonic. The IP Cameras provide live remote monitoring capabilities for remote locations, which can be accessed over the web from anywhere, at anytime. They can be accessed via the ACTAtek web interface or their own web interface.

UPS


UPS can be used with ACTAtek in order to have continuous DC 12V power supplied. Sites that often have power supply failure may consider to install a UPS as backup power supply.
